ob MINISTRIES

ACORNS

Acorns, our Christian education ministry to children, focuses on the developmental potential of children and supports the role of parents, the primary teachers of children, in safeguarding and nurturing their children's personal spiritual growth and their social, emotional and intellectual resources. Through Acorns we desire to see the children who dwell under our shade taught of the Lord and growing in character and in wisdom and in their knowledge and enjoyment of Jesus.

All your children will be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children (Isaiah 54:13).

XCEL

Led by young people for young people Xcel hosts and organises spiritually, socially and intellectually stimulating opportunities for personal spiritual growth that are fun and relevant to the life experiences of today’s youth.

May our sons flourish in their youth like well nurtured plants, and our daughters like corner pillars fashioned for a palace (Psalm 144:12).

FLOURISH

Led by Pastor Dee Bryce, Flourish hosts and organises spiritually, socially and emotionally rich learning experiences for women to further their personal spiritual growth and to find in the company of other women the wisdom of God for the circumstances of life.

They will flourish like the palm tree (Psalm 92:12).

CEDARS

Led by Pastor Tony Bryce, Cedars, our ministry to men, fosters in men godly characteristics associated with the Cedars of Lebanon. Cedars hosts and organises spiritually, socially and intellectually rich learning experiences for men to further their personal spiritual growth and to find in the company of other men the wisdom of God for the circumstances of life.

They will grow like the Cedars of Lebanon (Psalm 92:12).

LIGHT KEEPERS

Light Keepers meet regularly to pray for the peace of OB. As keepers of the flame, Light Keepers keep watch over the anointing oil that fuels the ministry.

Pray.. Peace be within your walls and security within your towers! (Psalm 122).
